There you can find some examples show how to use the ActiveField™ Technology to automate repeated calculations and study the model behavior in vary circumstances.

  • C-Shaped Magnet - The ActiveField tutorial. Learn ho to convert an existing problem into ActiveField application starting from the very basic explanation. This example covers both direct using of the QuickField Object Model and developing a model with Parametric Workbench.
  • Tooth-Slot and Air Gap Model models the tooth-slot structure in an electric machine. Learn how to use QuickField windows and pictures in your VB application.
  • Power Cable Design. This sample demonstrate how to use QuickField calculation from within the Microsoft Word environment.

In order to work with the ActiveField examples you need to have Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 or Visual Basic for Application (VBA) installed. The VBA is shipped with the Microsoft Office 2000.
